Winners announced at national health & safety awards

Safeguard in association with the Department of Labour were proud to present
the NZ Workplace Health and Safety Awards.
The awards acknowledged people and teams who had demonstrated commitment and achivement in improving health and safety in the workplace. They were a way of giving national recognition to good ideas, superior systems, great initiatives and hard working people that have made a difference in the work place."

Winners were announced on Wednesday night at a gala dinner at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau, attended by a capacity audience of 300. It is the second year the awards have been run. The awards attracted 115 entries from around the country, competing in nine categories.
